25th Annual WTBN March & Rally

7pm West Steps of the State Capitol
Rally program will include speakers, spoken word and music.
Confirmed performers include:
Sacramento Taiko Dan
Spoken Word with Straight Out Scribes
Message of solidarity from Lorena Cuellar Barandiaran from El Salvador
Deborah Dunham, with international Caravan for Justice (mothers of women killed in Juarez, Mexico)
Velvet Fury (all Latina punk band www.velvetfuryrockz.com )
Self-Defense Demonstration, Men's program, Children's Program, trained counselors on site, informal drum circle (Bring Your Own Drum), resource fair with local organizations, Action Items and ways to get involved, displays, victim memorial

Route:From the Capitol 10th Street to J Street. J Street to 17th (past the Memorial Auditorium). Right on 17th Street(past the YWCA) and right on L Street. Back to the Capitol to join the Men's program on the West Steps.

Suggestions: Bring flashlights and signs. Please do not bring noise makers like whistles, this is for security communications. Have a empowering and motivational march and organize!!
